HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Henderson County Democratic Party is planning an event to connect 2026 election candidates and potential candidates with local voters.
Voters will have a chance to meet and speak with candidates on Monday, November 10.
Party members will also be available to guide those considering a run for office.
“It’s important for voters to know that democracy still matters and not only do they deserve a seat at the table, but that they belong there,” said Henderson County Democratic Party Chairman Justin Wright.
In light of the government shutdown, free chicken dinners will be provided.
The event will be held at JFK Community Center on South Alvasia Street.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6 p.m. Candidates will start speaking at 6:30 p.m.
