FARGO — The committee tasked with vetting proposals for a new Fargo convention center has slightly extended its timeline for developers to fine-tune their proposals.

The committee decided to give the four finalists an additional 30 days, until 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, to submit new, detailed proposals under a second Request for Proposal (RFP) from the city.

At a Friday, Nov. 7, meeting, committee chairman Charley Johnson said the group still intends to reach its goal of presenting its recommendations to the City Commission in late March by condensing some of its work.
