ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — According to the latest forensic schedule analysis report filed with New York State by the Buffalo Bills , construction of the new Highmark Stadium is 12% behind schedule.

"The current August schedule update #20 reflects 64% completion, compared to the baseline planned progress of 76%," the report states. "This indicates the project is 12% behind schedule, although there is no recorded slippage to the project (delays) in days when comparing actual activity completion with the baseline completion projected actuals."

The report doesn't cite specific reasons for the lagging progress, but between July and August, several critical path activities were rescheduled, including slab remediation from a crane accident in the summer of 2024 but wasn't reported until January 20
