As the FAA cuts flights nationwide to alleviate the burden on air traffic controllers working without pay, many travelers are beginning to think about their travel plans for the holidays.
NBC Connecticut spoke with travel agent Trish Vale from Trench’s Worldwide Travel in Newington. She said she’s telling her clients it’s too early to make any moves on changing anything for Thanksgiving or December, and she’s optimistic air travel will return to normal by then.

“They don’t want to be canceling flights because there’s not going to be enough flights to take the load,” she said.
