State police announced the arrest of individuals related to a retail theft ring in the northeast. They say the arrests send a message.
Police know of 66 incidents involving the theft ring just in Connecticut over the last few months.

“It’s the superior tactics of the units that allow us to make order out of chaos,” Sgt. Anthony Gordon, with Connecticut State Police, said.
He supervises the organized crime investigative task force. It’s part of the Bureau of Special Investigations within Connecticut State Police.
Three arrests were made related to the ring, for shoplifting.
“There is an element of danger, and an element of violence," Gordon said.
