Sure, the brownfields are in the former industrial neighborhoods of downtown Gloversville. But they’re on the city’s north side, and its south side, too.

They’re in Broadalbin and Johnstown, and under review in Northville and Ephratah. The city of Gloversville and the Fulton County Center for Regional Growth have used nearly $2 million in grants over the past six years to sort them and perform 17 preliminary assessments and four, more detailed, secondary reviews.
