Spartanburg County election officials have announced that law enforcement is investigating allegations against some poll managers, focusing on potential conflicts of interest as outlined in the poll managers handbook.
In a statement, the director of the county's voter registration and elections pointed to a section of the handbook, which states, "Poll managers may not be a candidate or the spouse, parent, child, brother, or sister of a candidate at any polling place where the candidate's name appears on the ballot."
