HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting in Hawkins County on Friday afternoon, according to the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened in the Christian Bend community around 4:15 p.m., HCSO said.

All people involved in the shooting are identified and accounted for, and there is no threat to the public, according to HCSO.

The sheriff's office said the shooting investigation is very active and ongoing.
