Kayla Zamarano served nine big points Thursday night, and Fresno Bullard successfully defended its CIF Central Section Divison 3 girls volleyball championship.

The No. 2 Knights swept No. 1 Nipomo 3-0 at Nipomo for the 2025 Division 3 title. Set scores were 25-23, 27-25, 25-16.

Bullard moved to 29-9. Nipomo is 26-7. Both teams have qualified for the regionals, which will begin Tuesday. First-round pairings are due out this weekend.

The Titans could not hold the 21-15 lead they built in the second set Thursday night. The Knights kept the 21-15 margin THEY built in the third. Zamarano’s serving was a big reason why.
