BROOK PARK, Ohio -- A Middleburg Heights man, 32, was arrested -- and his 91-year-old grandfather was cited -- at about 11 a.m. Oct. 28 after police found four bags of what they believed was marijuana and a baggie containing a rock-like substance in the grandfather’s Ford Ranger.

Police had pulled over the pickup truck on Snow Road near Smith Road because the license plates had expired.

The driver, the younger man, admitted that his driver’s license had expired.

He said he was driving his grandfather to Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights to visit his grandmother.

Police then learned that the grandson was wanted for larceny is Euclid and Middleburg Heights. He was placed in handcuffs.

The truck belonged to the grandfather.
