For the first time in program history, Waukee Northwest will travel east to an iconic place in the world of Iowa high school football.

With a 48-34 win over Sioux City East on Nov. 7, the Wolves are into the state semifinals and have punched their ticket to the UNI-Dome. Starring in the effort was senior captain Ryan Woodruff, who rushed for five touchdowns in the biggest game of his career and program history. On defense, fellow senior captain Blake Ludwig also hauled in two massive interceptions, making it a special last game at home for the senior class.
