NAMPA, Idaho — The city of Nampa will restart the process to transfer the Ford Idaho Center to the College of Western Idaho after discovering decades-old title paperwork errors, officials announced Friday.
The decision comes after months of public hearings and a city council vote in early October, which approved the conveyance. However, during a routine closing review, officials discovered discrepancies in title paperwork dating back more than 20 years, including a missing legal description and parcels that had never been properly recorded with the county.
