TEXARKANA, Texas (KETK)-- The 10th-ranked Texarkana, Texas High Tigers complete an undefeated district campaign with a win over the Nacogdoches Dragons tonight at Tiger Stadium at Grim Park.

With this win, the Tigers clinch the District 7-5A Division II title with a 6-0 record and a 9-1 record overall. They will roll into the playoffs on a hot streak, winning their past seven games.

The Tigers will play in the first round of the playoffs next week. Their opponent and location are still pending.

The Dragons drop to 3-3 in district and 6-4 overall and will wait to see if they still qualify for the playoffs. They are currently awaiting the outcome of the Mount Pleasant/Hallsville game.
