Georgia Tennant has reached out to the police after revealing she’s been targeted with a string of threats to her life.

The 40-year-old actress is best known for playing Detective Inspector Samantha Nixon’s daughter Abigail in The Bill, Jenny in the Doctor Who episode The Doctor’s Daughter and Lady Vivian in the show Merlin.

She’s also been married to Doctor Who star David Tennant since 2011, with the couple first meeting on the set of the long-running BBC series.

Over the years the pair have also been vocal supporters for the LGBTQ+ community – specifically trans people.

However, their advocacy has also seen them come under fire at times, with the actress now detailing some of the horrific messages she’s been sent by trolls on social media.
