Two women have been taken to hospital following an explosion in Stoke-on-Trent. The incident occurred earlier today near Central Forest Park, prompting a swift response from emergency services. West Midlands Ambulance Service received the call and transported the women for further medical assessment. Their identities have not yet been disclosed. A spokesman for Staffordshire Police stated, "We are appealing for witnesses following a fire in Stoke-on-Trent. We were called by colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service to an area near Central Forest Park. Officers went to the scene following a report that an aerosol can had exploded inside a tent." Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also responded to the scene. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the two women are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening at this time.
