LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - After starting Saturday off with humid and foggy conditions, sunshine will mix with cloud cover. Temperatures will reach the mid 80s this afternoon. A few showers will be possible through the evening and overnight hours. Dense fog will develop after sunset as we await a very strong cold front to move through the area. A few showers will also be possible along the front. Early Sunday morning, the front moves through bringing drier and windy conditions to the area.
Sunday will see sunshine fill the sky and temperatures that hold in the 70s most of the day. Winds will be very strong out of the north with frequent gusts over 30 mph. Sunday night sees temperatures drop into the 30s with strong winds continuing.
