Weather experts have analysed Met Office data to predict which parts of Britain are most likely to see a White Christmas - and it looks like good news for the west coast of Scotland.
While some regions may see a dusting of snow, a blanket covering the entire UK on December 25 is a rare occurrence.
According to Met Office figures, western Scotland has the highest chance of a White Christmas, with odds at 26.7%, reports Chronicle Live
Wales is predicted to have a 20% chance of seeing snow on Christmas Day, while north west, southern and south west England have a 13.3% probability.
The Midlands seems less likely to enjoy a snowy Christmas, with rather slim odds of just 6.7%. Experts suggest that climate change is further decreasing the chances of snowfall at Christmas across the country.
