ALLEGAN COUNTY, MI — Three teens from Michigan were riding together on U.S. 131 between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids when a wrong-way driver ended their lives last weekend.
A crash happened around 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, on the highway after another driver began traveling in the wrong direction from 129th Avenue.
Families and friends have gathered this week to mourn the losses.
The crash killed Emmanuel Browning, Alayiah Lazzara and Marcell Oliver Jr., as well as the driver of the wrong-way Suburu Legacy, Erin Louise Jones of Grand Rapids. Two others were seriously injured.
