JACKSON COUNTY, MI – Jackson County is gearing up to celebrate veterans and active-duty military members.

Veterans Day is a federal holiday celebrated on Nov. 11. In 2025, the event falls on Tuesday. Here are some events to look out for in Jackson County.

Veterans Day Celebration in Withington Park

The Jackson County Veterans Council is hosting its annual Veterans Day Celebration at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in Withington Park, located at the west end of downtown Jackson.

The ceremony will be a celebration of veterans. Speakers and other recognitions will take place.

Veterans Day Celebration and Luncheon

Young People of Purpose and Sauk Trail Post 246 Auxiliary is hosting a Veteran’s Day Celebration, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson King Center, 1107 Adrian St.
