A boy and a man have been arrested after a stop-and-search in a Staffordshire town.

A 17-year-old from the Oldbury area of Sandwell and a 52-year-old from Tamworth were stopped in Tamworth by Staffordshire Police’s major and organised crime proactive team.

They were searched and found to have heroin, crack cocaine, cash and a phone.

A second phone was also recovered later that day.

They were both arrested on suspicion of being drug dealers.
