Norwich City have confirmed the sacking of manager Liam Manning after just five months in charge.

His final match as Norwich boss was a 2-1 home defeat against struggling relegated outfit Leicester on Saturday.

The 40-year-old leaves Carrow Road with Norwich in the Championship’s bottom three having picked up just two wins in 15 league games.

Manning has failed to register a single point at home this season and had failed to win in 11, with eight defeats in that time.

The result leaves the Canaries second from bottom in the Championship, with only Sheffield Wednesday below them with a 12 point deduction.
