SASKATOON - Premier Scott Moe has received over 80 per cent support in the leadership review vote at the Sask Party convention,

The party announced the results at their convention at TCU Place.

The result means Moe will be able to stay on as Sask Party leader. Earlier this morning, Moe gave his final pitch to delegates where he made clear that he wanted to lead the Saskatchewan Party into the next provincial election and win a sixth consecutive Sask Party term in government.

In other results announced this afternoon, former Prince Albert Carlton MLA and cabinet minister Joe Hargrave has won the vote to be the new Party President, defeating incumbent Bevra Vee.

Currently being debated is the proposed constitutional amendment that would remove party voting rights for permanent residents
