The Florida Panthers have added another player to their list of long-term injuries.
Head coach Paul Maurice told reporters Saturday that forward Jonah Gadjovich will miss roughly the next three months as he requires surgery for an upper-body injury.
Gadjovich suffered an injury in a game against the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 25 and has not played since.
In 10 games this season, the 27-year-old from Whitby, Ont., recorded three assists.
In 170 career NHL games with the Panthers, San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks, Gadjovich has totalled 21 points (10 goals and 11 assists).
He joins Dmitry Kulikov, Aleksander Barkov, Matthew Tkachuk and Tomas Nosek on the Panthers’ list of long-term injured players.
