HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Police Department is investigating reports of gunshots in Chinatown.

The incident occurred in the area of 100 N. Beretania Street, Chinatown Cultural Plaza.

Investigators said an argument escalated, and an unknown person discharged a firearm.

Police said several masked individuals fled the area.

No one was hurt.

Police have opened a reckless endangering case.
