On a clear, golden autumn afternoon, we found ourselves at the Clytha Estate with no itinerary - just a pair of walking shoes and the promise of sunshine after days of rain. The estate, set in the heart of Monmouthshire between Abergavenny and Raglan, offers exactly the kind of quiet beauty that rewards spontaneity - something Wales has plenty of.
