A grieving sister has paid tribute to her “always smiling” brother, who died suddenly at the age of 38.
Myles Stevens grew up in Chatham but was unexpectedly found dead at his flat in Staplehurst on August 11.
Now his younger sister, Jo Jo Stevens, says he will be remembered as “a good friend, who really tried to be there as much as he could for everyone” despite his struggles.
She said: “It’s so unexpected, we all thought we had more time with him.
“He was a funny big brother who never took life seriously. He was like a little protector, always going around making sure everyone is okay, even if he wasn’t himself.
“He really tried his best. He was very thoughtful, very considerate and was just a genuinely nice person.”
