Coventry City Council has warned drivers of potential delays as part of work in connection with traffic lights on a busy Coventry road. The lights in question are at the junction of Holbrook Lane and Swallow Road, with work starting on Monday (10 November).

Swallow Road is part of a new housing development on land once home to industrial companies such as Meggitt. There is lights at the bottom of the road, but it is not certain if more are being added on Holbrook Lane.

Since its opening Swallow has become a popular alternative for drivers looking to avoid the inevitable congestion on Burnaby Road. The council says getting lights up and running will benefit everyone.
