The National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory at 1:44 a.m. on Sunday valid from 7 p.m. until Monday 1 p.m. for Chautauqua County.
"Total snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches," can be expected according to the weather service. "The highest snowfall accumulations will be found across the Chautauqua Ridge."
"Travel will be difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute," comments the weather service. "Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving."
