Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray claimed on Sunday that a drone was observed near his home in Mumbai, sparking concerns over privacy and official protocols. According to Thackeray, the drone was seen peeping inside his residence before quickly departing when it was noticed by those present.
"A drone was caught peeping into our residence this morning and when the media learnt about it, the @MMRDAOfficial is saying it was a survey being done for BKC with permission of the Mumbai Police," Thackeray tweeted, questioning the intent behind the drone's actions.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) later clarified that the drone was part of a survey for the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and said it had obtained approval from Mumbai Police. Thackeray, however, doubted
