Benfica star Andreas Schjelderup has revealed that he has been charged with sharing an illegal video featuring minors.

The seven-cap Norway international has admitted that he expects to be convicted over the offence, which he committed two years ago.

The 21-year-old scored the winning goal against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup and recently faced Chelsea in the Champions League.

The attacker was contacted by Danish police over his offence earlier this year.

At age 19, Schjelderup, who was on loan at FC Nordsjaelland in the SuperLiga, forwarded a video to a friend 'without thinking clearly'.

The Norwegian, whose case will be heard in Copenhagen City Court on Wednesday, November 19, confessed he expects to be handed a suspended sentence.
