MINOT, ND (KXNET) — On November 14th, people from all over North Dakota will be coming together to remember the lives and legacies of loved ones who are no longer with us. For this year's World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, Vision Zero North Dakota is hosting a commemoration ceremony at the North Dakota State Capitol.
"We encourage all family members who have lost loved ones in a crash to participate in this event," North Dakota Highway Safety Division Director Karin Mongeon said. "It's a really positive event that brings together people who have had the same experience. The event just reminds us that behind every crash statistic is a person. A loved one, a friend, a community member."
This event is observed annually both in North Dakota and across the rest of the world, d
