A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 2:07 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Tuesday 1 p.m. for McKean and Elk counties.
"Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches possible," says the weather service. "There will be flurries and light snow during the day today with accumulations up to an inch possible by sunset. However, the majority of snowfall is expected to fall between Monday night and late Tuesday morning."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes," comments the weather service.
