A woman has tragically died after she was stabbed in the neck in Birmingham city centre, police have confirmed.
The woman, 34, was rushed to hospital with a serious neck injury after she was attacked on Smallbrook Queensway shortly before 9pm on Friday, November 7.
Detectives this morning sadly confirmed that she lost her fight for life in hospital.

Djeison Rafael, 21, was previously charged with attempted murder following the incident.
West Midlands Police said it will make an application to amend the charge after the woman's death.
The accused was remanded into custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court this morning.
