A second recall in three days has been issued for sprouts sold in Australia amid fears of salmonella contamination.
Flowerdale Farm on Monday night recalled eight varieties sold in Victorian fruit and vegetable shops. The affected products are Alfalfa Salad Sprouts, Plain Alfalfa Sprouts, Alfalfa Radish Sprouts, Alfalfa Broccoli Sprouts, Alfalfa Garlic Sprouts, Alfalfa Trio Sprouts and Alfalfa Onion Sprouts (all 120g) as well as the 125-gram Gourmet Sprouts.
Products with use-by dates up to and including November 20, 2025 should not be eaten and instead returned to their point of purchase for a full refund.
On Saturday, Parilla Fresh pulled its products from shelves following a joint investigation into a spike in cases of an unusual strain of the bacteria.
