(Cleveland)-A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for portions of north central, northeast, and Northwest Georgia until 7 AM Tuesday.
Forecasters say total snow accumulations of up to one inch are possible. Locally higher snow accumulations may be possible at elevations higher than 2000 ft. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
The weather service says to plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways.
These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
