On Monday at 7:52 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory in effect until Tuesday at 7 a.m. for Clinton and Essex counties.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Additional snow accumulations up to two inches for a storm total of 3 to 5 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute," explains the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling."
