STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A felon with Staten Island ties who was once pardoned by President Trump is headed back to prison, after what federal prosecutors described as a series of threatening and violent acts.

Jonathan Braun, 42, was convicted in 2011 of conspiracy and money laundering. But Trump commuted his 10-year prison sentence. Braun’s family had ties to Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, according to the New York Times .
