HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Evansville Police say a local bail bondsman was arrested on multiple charges after an investigation into alleged misconduct reportedly uncovered evidence of attempted rape, sexual battery, criminal confinement and promotion of human sexual trafficking.

Evansville police say officers first began investigating Timothy Moyes, 42, after a woman reported that he had been harassing her in July. The woman had to be transported to a hospital after Moyes and another bondsmen reportedly tried to detain her. Detectives say the woman reported that Moyes contacted her following a previous arrest, and told her that he thought her mugshot was "cute". According to a release, Moyes bonded the woman out and brought her back to his residence where they engaged in sexual activity.
