HICKORY COUNTY, Mo. — An inmate in the Dallas County jail has been sentenced in Hickory County for sexual abuse of a seven-year-old girl.

According to online court records, Brandon Haney pleaded guilty to first-degree child molestation and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

A probable cause statement from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drugs and Crime Control says Haney was incarcerated in Dallas County in November 2024 when he allegedly admitted to another jail inmate that he had previous sexual contact with a girl between seven and nine years old.

When MSHP interviewed the victim on Jan. 2, 2025, documents say she told investigators that Haney made her perform sexual acts on him and forced her to watch pornography on his phone every time she was at the witness’s hom
