As the most wonderful time of the year enters its full swing, it’s hard not to miss the iconi c Times Square Toys “R” Us that defined so many NYC-kid holiday seasons .

Prior to closing its doors in 2015, the massive storefront featured a giant ferris wheel , towering Lego sculptures, a life-sized Barbie house, and of course, a sense of wonder that felt like pure holiday magic in motion. For many New Yorkers, a visit to the three-story toy paradise was an essential part of the festivities.
