In communities across the area people will gather quietly to remember those who never made it home from the world’s many conflicts.
Tuesday, municipal offices and other civic sites across the area will close for the day in observance of Remembrance Day.
In Brockville, there will be some new participants in the annual Remembrance Day parade at the city’s Cenotaph.
The newly-formed Brockville Rifles Veterans Association, a civilian, volunteer-led not-for-profit association of former members and supporters of the local reserves regiment, will form up with fellow veterans and community members at the Brockville ceremony, members of the association said.
