It was a quick transition from raking leaves to shovelling snow for residents of the Brockville region as an early snowfall covered the area on Sunday.
Snowflakes, mixed in with ice rain, made for difficult driving conditions as slush and ice gathered along the roadways.

Environment Canada said the region saw a snow accumulation of about seven to nine centimetres on Sunday, depending on the area.
Although the snow stopped on Monday, it looks like there is more to come this week.
According to Environment Canada, there is a chance of flurries from Monday evening through to Friday, as well as Sunday.
