MADISON, Wis. - After a tough loss to Marquette on Saturday, the Wisconsin women's basketball team was back to winning ways Monday night. The Badgers easily took down UW-Milwaukee, 75-46, to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Breauna Ware led all scorers with 13 points, shooting 4-7 from the field. Jovana Spasovski added 11 points of her own while also grabbing 4 rebounds. The Badgers produced 16 steals on the night.

Badgers guard Destiny Howell shot 4-8 on the night, ending with 9 points. One of those was her 1,500th career point.

Robin Pingeton's squad made things difficult for the visiting Panthers all night long. UWM shot 29.6% from the field and was 7-21 from beyond the arc. Wisconsin won the turnover battler 25-11.

Up next for Wisconsin, it's a Nov. 10 home game against Bowling Green.
