NORWICH, CT. (WFSB) - Norwich police are looking for three suspects who fled after a crash on Route 2 Monday afternoon.
Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle that was connected to an armed carjacking that happened in Glastonbury last week at around 4:09 p.m.
The vehicle fled a short distance before losing control and striking a guardrail near exit 34 on Route 2 west. The three suspects then exited the vehicle and fled into the nearby wooded area.
Police recovered a firearm near the vehicle. State Police and Montville Police Department responded to assist with K9 tracks, which were unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active.
