MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A suspected DUI driver lost control of his vehicle and drove off into an embankment near Hensley Lake in Madera County Monday, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP said that a 46-year-old man from Seaside was navigating a curve on Road 400 near Hensley Lake when he lost control.

His 1972 GMC C10 left the roadway and came to rest on a descending dirt embankment.

CHP said the driver was found to be driving under the influence, more than four times the legal limit.

There were no reported injuries.
