An East Village man is dead after a fall from his sixth-floor balcony Sunday afternoon.

Was he pushed? Did he jump? So far police aren’t sure.

Idea1 Apartments are tucked into hustle and bustle of heavy East Village traffic and many times sidewalks are crowded on 13 th and F Streets. Sunday at 2:30 p.m. was no exception.

“We were terrified. We were absolutely terrified. We had no idea what was going on," witness Isabella Boaden said.

Boaden lives in the same building and began recording from her own balcony.

“It was a black tarp covering a body. Then a whole bunch of gloves everywhere. Devices they were trying to use to revive him,” Boaden said.

“Absolutely shocked. One — that it happened and that it happened in the middle of the afternoon, “ witness Brittney Atkinson said.
