St. Johns County firefighters battling house fire in Julington Creek

Firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire Tuesday morning in the Julington Creek area, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

Around 7:18 a.m., first responders were called to a house fire on Linwood Loop.

When units arrived, they found heavy fire showing from the back of the home, according to SJCFR.

Officials said crews were working to put out the fire, and a search of the home was underway.
