A "callous" Scots driver hit a man then dragged him further into the road to be struck by another vehicle.
James Price, 41, struck pedestrian Paul Astbury after cutting a corner while driving in Prestatyn, Denbighshire, Wales, ignoring his desperate cries for help and causing life-changing injuries during the ordeal on December 9, 2020.
The court was told that, after the collision, Price, from Gorebridge, Edinburgh , who has since been sentenced to three years in jail, did not respond to his victim's pleas before fleeing the scene, then did something even worse.
