SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Another person has thrown their name in the hat to become the next mayor of Shreveport.
Tuesday, Nov. 11, Caddo Parish Commission President Stormy Gage-Watts announced she’s running for mayor.
"I love this city, its people, its culture, and its potential, and I believe the time has come for a new chapter of leadership that listens, leads boldly, and delivers real results," Gage-Watts said.
Gage-Watts says she’s running for mayor because she wants the city to have a leader who doesn’t just “manage the status quo,” but works hard to advance the city.
