Michael A. Besozzi II, 36, has been sentenced to serve time in the West Virginia Division of Corrections for an incident where he was involved in a landlord’s serious fall from scaffolding.

Besozzi’s sentencing took place on September 22, 2025, and was handed down by the Hon. Jason A. Cuomo. Besozzi is required to serve a term of not less than one (1) nor more than five (5) years in prison.

Besozzi previously entered a Kennedy/Alford Plea on August 25, 2025, to one count of “Unlawful Assault.” This particular plea allows a defendant to plead guilty to the charge without admitting guilt, acknowledging instead that the prosecution has enough evidence to secure a conviction.
